She was predeceased by: her husband Harvey Smithson. She is survived by: her children, Wanda (Bob Dowdall), James and Alexander (Linda); her grandchildren, Lacey, Chelsea (Jerry), Scott Dowdall and Steven; her great grandchildren, Sophie and Liam; her sister Edith Foley; and her sister-in-law Shirley McCartney. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
