We are sad to announce that on June 27, 2023, at the age of 78, Jerene Lunney (Pakenham, Ontario) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Lawrence "Larry" Doherty and Ellen "Nellie" Gibson. She is survived by: her husband Al Lunney; her children, Michael, Carole (Andrew Hayes) and Stephen; and her grandchildren, Conor and Julia Hayes.
Her contributions to the field were significant, and she received numerous accolades, including the prestigious Prime Minister's Award for Teaching Excellence.
