She was predeceased by: her husband Frederick Thorpe; her parents, Gilbert Laprise and Lorraine Comeau; and her siblings, Evelyn Lucier-Baillargeon, Beatrice Benoit, Harvey, Ernest and Leo.
She is survived by: her sister Dorothy Donais of Chatham; her children, Jeannine Lachance of Chatham, Pierre Lachance of Merlin, Denise Lachance of London, Pauline Grant (Dennis) of London, Jeanne Glass (Jonathan) of Belle River and Giselle Grant (Doug) of Strathroy; her grandchildren, Babette, Erin, Forrest, Olivia, Lindsay, Neil, Cody and Kendra; and her great grandchildren, Mackenzie, Linley and Bryson.
Due to COVID-19 restrictions, please note that you must call the funeral home in advance at (519) 352-2710 to schedule a visitation time, and to reserve a seat at the church service as seating is limited. All attendees, as mandated by the Bereavement Authority of Ontario, must wear a mask at all times while at visitation, in the church, and during the funeral service, and Covid-19 protocols must be followed.
