She was predeceased by: her husband Raymond Beirnes; her sisters, Katherine Hardman of Owen Sound and LaVerne Schedler of Waterloo; and her parents, Violet Hodgins and Edward Hodgins.
She is survived by: her children, Jacqueline Dirstein (David Dirstein) of Kitchener and Jeffrey Beirnes (Darlene Beirnes) of Owen Sound; her grandchildren, Taylor Dirstein, MacKenzie Dirstein, Christina Beirnes and Melissa Beirnes; and her siblings, Claire Dahms of Owen Sound and Barbara Wallace of Wiarton. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews, family, friends.
