Toshio Takahashi Obituary

With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Toshio Takahashi (Owen Sound, Ontario), born in Britannia Beach, British Columbia, who passed away on July 7, 2021. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his siblings, Eita, Hideo (Fumiko), Akira (Kathleen), Kazuko Atagi (Kaoru), Fumiko Tsubouchi (Kiyoshi) and Haruko Bando (Toshio); and his parents, Chozo Takahashi and Suga Takahashi of Shiga, Japan..

He is survived by: his spouse Akiye "May" Takahashi; his children, Wayne (Barbara), Elaine, Paul and Susan (Ken); his grandchildren, Kiyomi and Shane (Heidi); his great grandchildren, Sophia and Aaliyah; and his sibling Kiyoko Yamada (Mits). He is also survived by his many nieces, nephews and friends.

In lieu of flowers or Koden, donations may be made in memory of Dad to the Toronto Buddhist Church.
