He was loved and cherished by many people including: his sons, Mike (Lori), Neil (Becky) of Hanover, Stacey (Krista) of Tara and Chris (Natasha) of Chesley; his wife Anne (McKinnon); his grandchildren, Luke, Wes, Dianne, Evangeline, Dale, Daniel, Beverley, Kendra, Tyler, Gerret and Mackenzie; his mother Mavis Klages of Chesley; his siblings, Dennis (Norma) of Kitchener, John (Mary), Carol Weiss (Vern) of Elmvale and Mark (Susan) of Chesley; his father Melvin; his brother-in-law Gordon McKinnon; and also, David McKinnon (Judy), Rod McKinnon (Connie), Laurel Purdy (Wayne), Elaine Mundle (Wayne) and Craig McKinnon (Catherine Racine).

Memorial donations to St. Mark's Lutheran Church, Chesley Hospital Foundation or Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated as expressions of sympathy.

“I will always remember Uncle Terry as a smiling, funny and friendly uncle. I remember how happy he appeared and how much he loved Aunt Anne. There are times I have thought that I hoped my own relationship with my husband would continue to be as fulfilling as his marriage was to my aunt. I remember weddings & buck and does watching him happily dance with his wife. He often danced with me as well and made me giddy with the twists and the turns and all of the excitement. He will be missed.”
