She was predeceased by: her husband Herbert Young; her parents, Leonard Sharpe and Edna Sharpe; and her brother Burton Sharpe (late Marion). She is survived by: her stepson Peter Young (Lisa) of Owen Sound; her nieces, Carol Sharpe, Jean Oliver and Kathy Blakeley; and her pets, Hugo and Betsy.

Memorial Donations to Loyalist College or the Quinte Humane Society would be a fitting tribute.
