He was predeceased by: his parents, Gordon and Eileen (Smith); his wife Helen Gardiner; his brother Donald; and his daughter Sherry.
He is survived by: his siblings, Edna Gill (Bob) and Jim (Liz); his sister-in-law Ellen McConnell; and his children, Lisa, Jeff, Andrew and Michael.
