He was predeceased by: his parents, Bertha and Richard; and his siblings, Jim, Phil and Norma.

He is survived by: his wife Eleanor (Cook); his children, Steve (Sue-Ellen), Bryan (Carolyn) and Keri (John); his stepchildren, Deborah (Tom), Darlene (John), Scott (Joan) and Mark (Libby); and his great grandchildren, Hunter, Illa, Finn and Violet.
