He was predeceased by: his wife Barbara Ann Porter (nee Louttit); his parents, Kathleen Porter and Robert Porter; and his brother-in-law Stuart Wilson. He is survived by: his son Robert Lawrence Porter (Karen) of Owen Sound; his grandchildren, Robert (Becky) and Angela Porter; his great grandchildren, Dean, Jeremy, Joshuwa, Derek and Declan; and his sisters, Eleanor Wilson and Linda Grimoldby (Cal). He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
