He was predeceased by: his wife Margaret; and his parents-in-law, Archie (Ellen), Hughie (Frances), Raymond, Elvera (Jim) and Clarence (Eileen).

He is survived by: his sister-in-law Doreen (Jim Close). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
