He was predeceased by: his parents, Cecil Brandon and Kate Brandon; and his brothers, Alan Brandon (Vera) and Thomas Brandon. He is survived by: his spouse Anne Brandon; his children, Bill Brandon (Nancy) of Annan and Stuart Brandon (Susan) of North Bay; his grandchildren, Trudy, Kerrie (Jon), Cameron (Alex), Janet (Dan), Billy (Kara), Crystal (Mark), Jason (Carol), Brenda (Harold) and Rob (Cindy); and his sister-in-law Maggie Brandon of England. He is also survived by his nieces and nephews.
