He was predeceased by: his brother Dick Both; his brother-in-law Irvin 'Gomer Ball; his daughter-in-law Lois Both (Wilson); and his parents, Dick Both and Janna Both (Kasius).
He is survived by: his significant other Eleanor Both; his sons, Douglas Both, Dennis Both (Michelle Anderson) and Derek Both (Angela Wright); his grandchildren, Brennan Both (Rachel Blenkinsop), Dillon Both, Jenna Wright, Trenten Both (Emma Johnston), Hailey Both and Owen Both; his brother Hank (Geraldine Both); and his siblings-in-law, Mary Both, Gloria Ball, Ruby Connery and Mervin Ball. He is also survived by nieces, nephews and extended family.
