She was predeceased by: her husband Neil Gilchrist; her daughter-in-law Marie; and her brothers, Wilfred, Nolan and D. A. Dunlop.
She is survived by: her children, Darlene (Paul Cruickshank) of Park Head, Bob and Barry; her sister Marie Jackson; and also Betty Welsh of Owen Sound.
