She was predeceased by: her parents, Wilfred Monk and Mary Monk; and her brothers, James Monk (Eleanor), Mervin Monk (Lorraine) and Douglas Monk (Edith).
She is survived by: her children, Birdie Colleen Trafford of Stratford and Michele Trafford of Owen Sound; her grandchild Jade Trafford of Owen Sound; and her siblings, Jean Laughlin (Stan) of Durham, Shirley Scarrow (Elmer) of Desboro, Isabel Nippard of Markdale, Robert Monk (Glenna) of Durham and Gerald Monk (Joy) of Brantford. She is also survived by her many nieces and nephews.
