Lyla Charlton Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Lyla Charlton in Owen Sound, Ontario, who passed away on March 21, 2025. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Annie and William'Bill'McComb; and her siblings, Bruce McComb, Gerald McComb, Geraldine Copp, Marlene Drennan, Betty Charron and Ruth Caudle.
She is survived by: her husband Clifford Charlton; and her children, Vera Butt (Doug) of Owen Sound, John Charlton of Georgian Bluffs, Janet Burrows (Steve) of Sauble Beach, Kenton Charlton (Marilyn) of Georgian Bluffs, Karen Shipley of Brampton and Allan Charlton (Shelley) of Saskatchewan. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
A funeral service was held on Friday, March 28th 2025 from 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM and on Saturday, March 29th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Downs and Son Funeral Home (145 Queen St W, Hepworth, ON N0H 1P0). Visitation was held on Saturday, March 29th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the same location.
