He was predeceased by: his spouse Sheilla Middleton; his parents, Ross Middleton and Marie Middleton; his sisters, Sue Morris and Donna Smith; his brothers-in-law, Ordane Morris and Bill Boddy; and his parents-in-law, Lloyd Spence and Eleanor Spence.

He is survived by: his children, Kerry White (Dennis) of Sault Ste, Anthony Middleton (Michelle) of Alliston, Troy Middleton (Sheri) of Leith and Trevor Middleton (Shannon) of Alliston; his grandchildren, Megan, Katie, McKenna, Matthew, Courtney and Brittney; his great grandchildren, Peyton, Kayden and Maverick; his siblings, Ardell Boddy of Edmonton, Patricia Sweeney (Derm) and Valerie Thompsett (Brad); and his siblings-in-law, Donald Smith of Owen Sound, Laurie Wright (Bob) of Meaford, Pat Waller (Tom) of Owen Sound and Janice Wilcox (Al) of Meaford. He is also survived by his nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
