He was predeceased by: his grandson Jamie Thrush; and his sisters, Betty Hutton and Lorraine Thrush. He is survived by: his children, Gary (Kathy), Bob (Melynda), Sheila (Bob Snyder) and Brenda; his grandchildren, Bobbi Jo Fiolek, Jody Wheeler, Christopher Thrush and Michael Thrush; his great grandchildren, Jordan Wheeler, Dylan Wheeler, Andrew Fiolek and Brooke Fiolek; his great great grandchild Ryan Wheeler; and his sister Donna Schintzel.

Memorial donations to Canadian Cancer Society or the Owen Sound Animal Shelter would be appreciated by the family.
