John Sinclair Obituary

It is always difficult saying goodbye to someone we love and cherish. Family and friends must say goodbye to their beloved John Sinclair of Owen Sound, Ontario, who passed away at the age of 89, on December 15, 2022. He was predeceased by: his parents, Warren Sinclair and Marjorie Sinclair (Calhoun); his wife Marjorie; his grandson Stephen Sinclair; his siblings, Marion Loucks (Keith), Carl (Caroline), Judson (Dorothy) and Bob; and his brother-in-law Doug White.

He is survived by: his children, Nancy Gethke (Warren) of Stratford, Marlene Sinclair (Mark Trethouen) of Stratford, Bill (Annette) of Stratford and Bob (Kelly) of Kitchener; his grandchildren, Lisa, Shaun (Kaleigh), Natasha (Sean), Scott, Brad, Taylor and Jordan; his great grandchildren, Aubree, Hudson, Lucas, Aaliyah, Olivia, Hadley, Liam and Leo; his sister Ruby White of North Bay; and his sister-in-law Viola Sowerby of Berkeley.

Sadly, the pandemic did not help, but in recent months John was enjoying a bit more freedom and the opportunity to meet and spend time with all his great-grandchildren.
