He was predeceased by: his parents, John and Violet; his brother Jimmy; and his sister-in-law Margo Richardson. He is survived by: his spouse Shirley; his children, Jacqueline (Carl Brown) and Doug (Rosalind); and his siblings, Gail Burns (Carl Lave), Bob (Monica) and Michelle Netherton.

Memorial donations to the Royal Canadian Legion Branch 6 or the Alzheimer Society would be appreciated by the family.
