He was predeceased by: his parents, Evan Hargest and Marie Hargest; and his brother Stephen Hargest. He is survived by: his son Gregory; his grandchild Cayle; his partner's daughters, Candice Finlay (Scott) and Sabrina Galbraith (Josh); his grandchildren, Ryerson and Blakelyn; his siblings, LeeAnne O'Leary (Brian) and Pam Coulter (Ted); and his sister-in-law Lisa Tannahill. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
