He was loved and cherished by many people including: his spouse Fatemeh Mirdamadi Tehrani; his children, Zohreh Afshar-Ghotli (Saeed Koroushnia) and Alireza Afshar Ghotli (Kathy); his grandchildren, Arta, Arvin and Hannah; his sibling Mashallah Afshar Ghotli; and his sibling-in-law Saleh Mirdamadi Tehrani.
