With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Frances Mae Vigus Petrie (Owen Sound, Ontario), who passed away on January 18, 2019. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her brother Ian Smith; and her parents, Richard Smith and Jean Smith (Vigus). She is survived by: her spouse John; her children, Debora Hickling of London, Susan Schlorff (John) of Bruce Township, Richard Bentley (Gail) of Kitchener and Wendy Bentley (Kelvin) of Napier; her grandchildren, Amy (Corey), Lindsay (Dave), Sara, Kevin (Ashlee), Cameron and Matthew; her great grandchildren, Hannah, Payten, Tristen, Carter and Leigha; her brother Lennie Smith (Helen) of Detroit; and her sister-in-law Cheryle Smith of Woodstock.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations to the Chesley Medical Clinic (cheques payable to Municipality of Arran-Elderslie), Chesley Hospital Foundation or St. John's United Church would be appreciated as expressions of sympathy.
