She was predeceased by: her spouse George Barrett; her parents, John McArthur and Margaret McArthur; and her brother Os McArthur. She is survived by: her child Joan Abbott; her grandchildren, Tim Abbott (Diana), Debbie Abbott and Ted Abbott (Shannon); her great grandchildren, Tanner Abbott, Taylor Abbott, Jason Laurier and Robert Laurier; and her great great grandchild Trey Abbott.

Memorial donations to the Heart and Stroke Foundation or the Alzheimer Society would be appreciated by the family.
