She was predeceased by: her husband John; and her sister Elsie Booth. She is survived by: her children, Eric Winter (Denise), Vicki Rigby, John Roberts (Marion Thompson) and Glenn Roberts (Gwen); her grandchildren, Jonathan Winter (Ali), Kirsty Ramsay (Jason), Clair Reeves (Stuart Fraser), Anna Jacobs (Jason), Kate Roberts and Emily Roberts; and her great grandchildren, Kieran, Anya, Emily, James, Caitlin, Alec, Audrey and Brock.

Donations in Dorothy Roberts' memory could be made to the Alzheimer Society or the Alderwood Rest Home in Baddeck, Nova Scotia.
