He was predeceased by: his parents, Frank Smith and Annie Smith; his parents-in-law, Redge and Ada Irwin; his brother Les Smith; and his brothers-in-law, Kenny and Larry Irwin.
He is survived by: his children, Rick Moreland (Colleen), Ron Moreland (Arlene), Reg Moreland (Wendy), Donald Smith (Ann), Karen Smith (Jamie Woods) and Diane Sweeney (Jim); and his siblings-in-law, Jack Irwin (Marg) and Hilda Smith.
