We are sad to announce that on January 24, 2019, at the age of 86, Donald Macdonnell (Owen Sound, Ontario) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his son Jeffery; and his parents, Don "Mac" and Hilda MacDonnell (Chebott). He is survived by: his spouse Freda (Daniel); his children, Pam Kinchen, Harvey MacDonnell (Dana) and Kimberlee Broomfield; his grandchildren, Amy Pilon (Rob) of Meaford, Aaron Buckton (Will) of Toronto, Ayla of Owen Sound, Jeff Kinchen of Owen Sound, Klayton of Owen Sound, Kassidy MacDonnell of Owen Sound, Jennifer Hale (Spencer) of Calgary and Jessica Dolphin of Calgary; his great grandchildren, Alora, Andrew Pilon, Anika, Aurora Hale and Nyla Dolphin; and his siblings, Bob MacDonnell (Marj) and Gary MacDonnell.

As expressions of sympathy, donations to the Royal Canadian Legion would be appreciated.
