He was predeceased by: his wife Gladys; his son Donnie; his parents, Howard Allan and Hazel Allan; his sister Shirley; and his brother-in-law Tony Dinspell.
He is survived by: his children, Robert (Jan McWhirter), Roy, Rosanne and Ruth (Bryan Playford); and his brother Austin (Vi). He is also survived by 12 grandchildren, 6 great grandchildren.
