Don Tew Obituary

It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Don Tew of Owen Sound, Ontario, who passed away on July 20, 2020, at the age of 85, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends can send flowers and/or light a candle as a loving gesture for their loved one. He was predeceased by: his parents, Herbert Tew and Lillian Tew; his sister Margaret (Ron Kelly); and his brother-in-law Lester Schwantz. He is survived by: his sons, David (Kimberly) of Stratford and Christopher (Katherine) of Port Elgin; his grandchildren, Harrison and Abigail; and his sisters, Barbara Arthur (Ken) and Doreen Schwantz. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

Ron O'Donoughue lit a candle

“In loving memory of Don Tew, Sharing in your sorrow. With love and friendship. Don and I were seated next to each other in Silver C's . We shared a lot over the years especially our sense of humour, love of music and unfortunately shortness of breath due to COPD. WE also both had Lung cancer and had to have operations to remove cancerous growths surgically re,moved. I missed him very much during thE COVID 19 pandemic. I considered Don a good friend and I will continue to miss him.”
