He was predeceased by: his spouse Judith Hargrave; his parents, Sneath Hargrave and Anna Hargrave; his brothers, David Hargrave, Bradley Hargrave and Brian Hargrave; his siblings-in-law, Donald Metcalf, Sandra Roehrig, Joanne Weiler and Valerie Ankwiz; and his parents-in-law, Dennis Gibbons and Helen Gibbons.

He is survived by: his stepchildren, Deb Martell (Dave) of St. Mary and Mickey Marzucco (Joe) of Naples; his stepgrandchild Jack Marzucco; his sibling Linda Metcalf of Hanover; and his siblings-in-law, Dianne Hargrave of Kitchener, Barry Gibbons (Brenda), Ken Weiler of Owen Sound and Steve Ankwiz of Kitchener. He is also survived by his many nieces and nephews.
