She was predeceased by: her parents, Henry Esplen and Hazel Esplen; her husband Merton; and her siblings, Mac Esplen, Mardi Lyness and Jack Esplen.
She is survived by: her children, Suzanne Jacques (Jim Wade), Dianne "Mini" Jacques, Tom and Bill Jacques; her grandchildren, David, Nikki and Thomas; her sister-in-law Colleen McBratney Esplen of Kelowna, BC; and her friends, Barb Ross and Janet Eagleson. She is also survived by many cousins, nieces and nephews.
