Berniece Girodat Obituary

We are sad to announce that on November 21, 2024, Berniece Girodat of Owen Sound, Ontario passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her grandparents, Gertrude, Ernie Holmes, Bill and Annie Baechler; her sister Brenda Boyachuk; her father Lloyd Baechler (Lillian); and her stepfather Stu Schade.

She is survived by: her daughter Lena Elzinga; her grandchildren, Chandler and Emma Bergman; her son Lenze (Lindsay); her siblings, Barry Baechler of Calgary, Brian Baechler of London, Betty Bell (Wayne) of Chesley, Pat Whitelaw (Steve) of Waterloo, Donna Fillier (Scott) of Kitchener, Grant Baechler (Bonita) of Midland and Brian Wright of Barrie; her nieces and nephews, Layne, Gage, Lindsay, Chris, Kevin, Kyle, Robin, Joey, Melanie, Heather, Paul, Aimee and Jennifer; and her mother Eva Schade.

Memorial donations to Diabetes Canada would be appreciated as expressions of sympathy.
