He was predeceased by: his parents, Murray Pelley and Helen Pelley (Mansfield); his wife Marion Furlong; his brothers, Ralph, Bernard and Richard; and his nephews, Robert and Ralph.
He is survived by: his siblings, Roger of Wiarton, George of Toronto, Franklin of Guysborough, Hanna of Ottawa, Evelyn of Kingston, Rita of Calgary, Lois of Antigonish and Brenda of Toronto; and his nephews, Duane of Toronto and David of Toronto.
