He was predeceased by: his wife Irene McConnell; his daughter-in-law Shelley McConnell; his parents, Richard McConnell and Orvilla McConnell; and his siblings, Gordon McConnell (Eileen), Thelma Genoe (Carmen), Marjorie Vokes (Ken), Rosalie Moore (Elwood), June Cruickshank (Wilmer) and Mary McConnell.
He is survived by: his children, Judy Pringle (Bob), Keith McConnell, Karl McConnell (Anne), Diane Flannery (James) and Mark McConnell (Joyce); his daughter-in-law Jo-Anne McConnell; and his uncle George McConnell. He is also survived by 11 grandchildren and 3 step-grandchildren, many loving great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews, family and friends.
