She was predeceased by: her parents, Mariana and Armando Teves of São Miguel; her husband Antonio Pereira; her son José António (Marcia); her son-in-law Carlos; and her siblings, Luzia, Hermano, Joao, Estevao, Denis and Manuel.

She is survived by: her children, Teresa (Manuel), Hirondina (Afonso), Odilia (Ivo), Ana-Maria (late Carlos), Leonilde (Semião), Germana (Cristovão), Maria-Helena (João-Maria), Hermano (Alice), Afonso (Maria Zelia), Victor (Christina), Nelia (Tony) and Paulo (Lisette); her grandchildren, Cliff, Sylvie, Tony, Elisa, Jessica, Ashley, Bruno, Milton, Andrea, Leila, Filipe, Christopher, Ruben, Sofia, Joshua, Marta, Kathleen, Kevin, Anthony, Fabio, Sara, Mikaela, Daniela, Carolina, Jacob and Emma; her great grandchildren, Tiago, Andrew, Karina, Audrey, Mateo, Mikaela, Matilde, Erica, Françisca, Tatiana, Jorge Miguel, Adriano, Leandro, Ricciardo, Theo and Joao; and her great great grandchild Maverick.
