It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Yolande Bekkers (Ottawa, Ontario), who passed away on December 28, 2022, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her grandson Mason; and her sister Fleurette (late Joffre Clement). She is survived by: her husband Harry Bekkers; her children, Danny (Barbara May), Carol Ann (Mark Smiley), Tim (Lynne O'Heare), David (Fiona Chan) and Robert (Brenda Mills); her grandchildren, Kyle, Trevor, Bryden, Brianna, Brittany, Eric and Lee; her great grandchildren, Ethan, Joshua, Olivia and Zoey; and her siblings, Lise (late Hubert Brisson), Michel, Claude (Louise Auger), Marthe, Gaston Patenaude, Claire (late Ernest Lanthier), Francoise (late Jean-Claude Rochon), Huguette (Roger Emard), Gilles (Laura Dignard), Estelle (late Laurier Lapalme) and Jean (Monique Bougon).

As expressions of sympathy, donations in memory of Yolande made to the Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated by the family.
