She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parent Professor; her brother Dr. Josh Auer (Robert); her daughters, Jessica and Mirika (Mieke); and her granddaughters, Claire and Naomi. She was also cherished by many nieces and nephews, and several cousins.
At the outset of the covid pandemic, she produced over 300 masks for medical facilities and volunteer organizations.
