It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of William S. Burnside (Ottawa, Ontario), who passed away on January 14, 2025, at the age of 94, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was loved and cherished by many people including: his children, Graham (Laura Burnside), Janet (Kelvin Holmes), Doug (Lynne Burnside) and Gillian (Ron Milligan); his grandchildren, Daniel, Dennis, Jaime-Lynn, Meagan, Mallory, Chelsey, Leah, Chris, Brady, Brett, Hillary and Kim; his close friends, Cameron Merkley and Frank Dooher; his nephew Kenneth Burnside; and his cousin Douglas Colville. He was also cherished by seven great grandchildren.
