He was predeceased by: his wife Agnes; his son William Douglas; his daughter-in-law Cheryl Paterson; his parents, Bill and Gladys; his siblings, Lorna Fisher, Dorothy Wills (Lyle) and Robert; and his parents-in-law, Mildred, Doug MacIntosh, Neil Porteous, Laura, Bob Noonan and Bruce Porteous.
He is survived by: his children, David Paterson and Kathleen (Dave Bradley); his grandchildren, Jacqueline McGann (Michael), Charles Paterson (Crystal), Will (Madeleine Duncan) and Tim Bradley; his great grandchildren, Clark, Weston McGann and Parker Paterson; and his parents-in-law, Wally Fisher Lynne Paterson, Joan, Dave Kelly and Marion Porteous. He is also survived by nieces and nephews and their children.
