William Lawrence Sprott Obituary

We are sad to announce that on March 1, 2024, at the age of 94, William Lawrence Sprott (Ottawa, Ontario) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Victor Sprott and Sadie Sprott; his parents-in-law, Jean Lamartine and Gert Lamartine; his sisters, Wilda and Enid; and his wife Ruth.

He is survived by: his children, Nancy (Peter), Carol (Allan), Jane (Bob), David (Val) and Peter (Kerry); his grandchildren, Andrew, Alan, Chris, Alex, Kevin, Mike, Jennie, Erica, Steven, Stephanie, Matthew, Marissa and Austen; his great grandchildren, Colin, Lauren, Chelsea, Celeste, Wesley, Sydney and Mila; and his brothers-in-law, Ralph Lamartine (Elisabeth) and Richard Lamartine. He is also survived by his nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, a donation may be made in Bill's name to BGC Ottawa.
