He was predeceased by: his spouse Colombe Marie Murphy; his parents, Michael Murphy and Catherine Murphy; and his siblings, Erwin, Cecil, Eva, Clarence, Wilfred, Oliver, Alice, Helen and Edmund.
He is survived by: his children, Geoffrey Murphy (Fuen Leal-Santiago), Stephanie Murphy (Philippe Arseneau) and Katie Murphy (Dean F. Johnson); his grandchildren, Marina, Anouk, Dominic and Paloma; and his sister Ruth (late Pierre Chassé). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, February 6th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Neville Funeral Home (491 Isabella St, Pembroke, ON K8A5T8). A funeral Mass will be held on Friday, February 7th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the St. Paul the Hermit Church (59 Chem. Sheen, Sheenboro, QC J0X2Z0).
