He is survived by: his wife Elise Lalonde; his mother Catherine Watson; his sisters, Kathy Watson-LeBlanc (Guy LeBlanc) and Lesley Watson (Brent MacInnis); his nephew Jordan LeBlanc; and his niece Allana LeBlanc (JP Chaput).
In lieu of flowers, a donation to the March of Dimes, or the Ottawa Civic Hospital ICU is suggested.
