With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Wendy Elizabeth Nezan (Ottawa, Ontario), whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on October 4, 2024. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her husband Ted Blain; her parents, Gloria Grenon and Robert Kingsbury; and her brothers, Robert and Michael Smith.

She is survived by: her sons, Cory (Kathy) and Stephen (Kelley); her granddaughters, Sophie (Christian), Lilah, Haylee and Chloe; and her siblings, Karen Gorr (Dennis), Stephen Smith, Mark Smith and Kelly Medeiros (John). She is also survived by numerous nephews and nieces.

It’s very sad for you and all of your family, and any words I can say to you now will not take away the pain you are feeling – only time can do that. I remember Wendy well and loved it when she called me “Aunt” Dorothy. It was at family gatherings, like showers, we would get to see each other – such a long tome ago. Take heart – Wendy is in good hands now, and I will say a prayer for all of you.”
