Though Wendell may no longer walk beside us, his legacy lives on — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of time and space.
He was predeceased by: his children, Steven Wendell and Darlene Mary; his great-grandparent Clark Nelson; and his sister Colleen Gourlay. He is survived by: his wife Miriam; his grandchildren, Kristina Sunstrum (Kevin) and Brian Dunbar (Samantha Kennedy); and his sister Glenda Gourlay. He is also survived by his daughter and grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, donations to The Dementia Society of Ottawa and Renfrew County or the Children's Hospital of Eastern Ontario (CHEO) would be greatly appreciated by the family.
