He is survived by: his wife Beverly Troup; his children, Alick (Jane), Edith Lesley, Jenni (Peter Lee) and Gordon; his grandsons, Will, Nelson (Sara), Griffin (Paige) and Hamish; and his sister Mary Ruth Ballantyne.
