With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Wallace Lloyd Herman (Ottawa, Ontario), who passed away on January 29, 2023 at the age of 97. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his wife Marie Thérèse; his parents, Joseph Herman and Natalie Herman; and his brother Doug (late Bernice). He is survived by: his children, Rob (Katherine), Christine (Michel) and Richard (Hélène); his grandchildren, Antoine, Julie, Lillian, Patrick and Marc; and his brother Leroy (Pat). He is also survived by several great grandchildren and nieces.

“To the family of Wally Herman, you have our deepest condolences and sympathy for your loss. Wally was one of the finest gentlemen running marathons all over the world. Wally and I were close friends. We ran a good number of marathons together. One year Wally invited my wife (Jean) and me to have dinner with him and his wife, Marie. We enjoyed seeing the canal running in front of their home. Wally called us at Christmas time "just to" talk. Jean and Tom Adair, Sr. Alpharetta, GA”
