He was predeceased by: his wife Antonia Russo; and his siblings, Michele, Giuseppina, Giuseppe and Rosina.
He is survived by: his children, John, Angelo (Doris), Carmela (Silvano) and Antonio (Meghan); and his grandchildren, Antonia (Paul), Kristina (Sebastian), Vincenzo, Vanessa, Stephanie (Gianmarco), Cassandra, Nicholas (Amanda) and Antonio.
Visitation was held on Monday, April 21st 2025 from 4:00 PM to 9:00 PM at the Capital Funeral Home & Cemetery (3700 Prince of Wales Dr, Ottawa, ON K2C3H1). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, April 22nd 2025 from 11:00 AM to 11:45 AM at the same location. An entombment was held on Tuesday, April 22nd 2025 from 11:45 AM to 12:00 PM at the same location. A reception was held on Tuesday, April 22nd 2025 from 12:15 PM to 2:30 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, donations to the Kidney Foundation and the Ontario Heart and Stroke Foundation would be appreciated by the family.
