We are sad to announce that on June 19, 2024, at the age of 92, Victoria Julia Smoczynski (Ottawa, Ontario) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her former husband Zdzislaw Karol Smoczynski; her husband Leo LaFrance; and her parents, Ludwig Nieckarz and Micheline Nieckarz. She is survived by: her children, Eva Krocko (Jim Krocko) and Peter Smoczynski (Ann Archer); her grandson Mark Krocko (Amanda); her great grandchildren, Isaac and Noah; and her goddaughter Irene Depa of Montreal.

In lieu of flowers the family requests that donations be made to the University of Ottawa Heart Institute. (https://foundation.ottawaheart.ca).
