She is survived by: her husband Colin Geitzler; her pet Lacey; her sons, Michael Symonds (Véronique Cadieux) of Aylmer, Quebec., Robert Symonds (Katie Trinque) of Aylmer, Quebec. and Marc Symonds (Corinne Barrette) of Aylmer, Quebec.; her stepchildren, Rachel Weatherbee of Ottawa and Colin Richard Geitzler of Ottawa; her grandchildren, Emma, Thomas, Alexa, Holden, Rowan and Currie; and her siblings-in-law, Hazel Palmer (Arthur) of New Glasgow, NS, Don Symonds of Ottawa, Doug Symonds (Ann), Alex Symonds, David Symonds and Barbara Symonds of Newfoundland. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
