She was predeceased by: her husband Koji; her parents, Itaro and Same; and her brothers, Masakazu and Masayoshi (Vi).

She is survived by: her son Russell (Christine); her grandchildren, Justin (Lindsay), Kelly (Joe) and Adam (Emily); and her siblings, Takako (Zen) and Yonzie (Daisy). She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
